3 Days / 2 Nights
Zanzibar, Tanzania
Beach Resort / Stone Town Hotel
Airport transfers included
Arrive at Zanzibar's Abeid Amani Karume International Airport where you'll be met by our representative and transferred to your Stone Town hotel. After checking in and freshening up, embark on a guided walking tour of historic Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Wander through narrow winding streets, past intricately carved wooden doors and bustling bazaars. Visit key landmarks including the Old Slave Market, Christ Church Cathedral, the Old Fort, and the Sultan's Palace Museum. End the day with a stunning sunset at the iconic Forodhani Gardens night market.
After breakfast, head out for a fascinating Spice Tour to discover why Zanzibar is called the "Spice Island." Visit local spice farms where you'll see, smell, and taste a variety of spices including cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, and cardamom. Learn about their traditional uses and Zanzibar's spice trade history.
In the afternoon, take a boat to Prison Island (Changuu Island) to see the giant Aldabra tortoises, some over 100 years old. Explore the historic prison ruins (never used as a prison) and enjoy snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters around the island. Return to your hotel for a relaxing evening.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and spend your final morning relaxing at the beach or exploring more of Stone Town. Optional activities include a morning dhow cruise, shopping for souvenirs at the Darajani Market, or simply unwinding by the pool.
Depending on your flight time, we can arrange additional activities or extend your beach time. You'll be transferred to the airport in time for your departure, taking home memories of Zanzibar's magical atmosphere.
